Project AIM views continued learning opportunities for our partner teachers and teaching artists as key to deepening our practice. Through our school based Steering Committee Meetings, Summer Institute, Curriculum Shares, and artist Cadre Meetings, we build extended learning communities steeped in shared practice and experiential learning.
Steering Committee Meetings
In any given Project AIM school, there may be multiple residencies occurring throughout the school year. In an effort to maximize discovery, we hold three site specific steering committee meetings throughout the school year. Teachers, artists and staff meet to discuss school culture and priorities, share their work and view residency artifacts. Meetings are designed to activate inquiry and explore struggles and discoveries, creating an ongoing, vibrant learning community that is specific to the community of practice.
