(Middle School Evanston Expansion and Dissemination)
Expanding the Project AIM Model Across a District
From 2012-2017, Project AIM continued work in Chicago schools. In addition, Project AIM received funding to work with all 7th and 8th grade students in the immediate northern suburb of Evanston. Evanston's District 65 is now committed to exploring the Project AIM model across multiple elementary schools as well, allowing Project AIM to apply the model with primary and intermediate-grade students.
“An expansion is an adaptation, contextualized in each community. Sometimes we were too reactionary to what Evanston wanted, sometimes too beholden to what AIM has been.”
